Teachers were definitely humbled by the Chapel scholars on Thursday. The 8th graders won the kickball and volleyball games. Seventh downed the teachers in basketball. Luckily, the day was not a total humiliation for the teachers who squeaked by a win thanks to team del Pozo and Pham in the tennis ball throw. The Lady Wolves made it to the third round of the CYO basketball playoffs but lost to St, Turibius (40-36) on Saturday. It was the first time a Chapel girl's team had made it so far in the playoffs. It was tough for the team to get so far and be so close but not take home the win. The team and the fans were hoping to make it through this round and on to Sunday's game. God bless our players and a big salute to St. Turibius. A huge thanks to Coach Roman del Pozo for his dedication and hard work.
