Principals Message

Welcome to Cathedral Chapel School! I am honored and privileged to be the
principal of a school that has a long history of providing a faith based,
academically excellent and service oriented education. We have allowed the
Spirit of God to permeate our school community and He strengthens us to be our
best selves through hard work, dedication, prayer and trust in His Divine
Providence.

The National Catholic Educational Association proclaims that there are a dozen
reasons that families choose to send their children to a Catholic School.
Families choose Cathedral Chapel School because we offer a faith based
education fostering academic excellence. We believe that parents/guardians
are the primary educators of their children and we partner with them in the
faith formation of their children. As a faculty and staff, we set high expectations
for student achievement and teach our students to achieve those goals.

One of the hallmarks of CCS is our strong commitment to service in the local
community. This value of service to others is evident is our monthly Hope Net
food collections, our Missionary Childhood Association collection during Lent,
our outreach to Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children and
Alexandria House, Feet the Homeless, and our service projects to different
organizations during Catholic Schools Week. We promote moral development
and self-discipline in our students evidenced through mutual respect as well as
a welcoming, safe, family environment.

Our students are prepared to be responsible citizens and future leaders in our
society. Throughout the years at least 90% of our graduating classes attend
Catholic High Schools. Our eighth graders have been accepted to Loyola,
Cathedral, Marymount, Immaculate Heart, Notre Dame Academy, Notre Dame
High School, Bishop Conaty, St. John Bosco and St. Monica High School. Some of
our students have also been accepted into Harvard Westlake, Marlborough and
Campbell Hall. In addition to our successful high school acceptances, our
AJHD Teams in 2002 as well as 2017 have won the State Championship and they
have placed in the top ten schools out of 100 in the years when we did not win
State. CCS students leave with a strong spiritual and academic foundation,
which assists them in being successful in both high school as well as college.

We thank God for the many blessings he has bestowed on our school
community throughout the years and look forward to the future knowing that He
is ever present and active in our daily lives as we strive to make a difference in
our world. Please contact us to schedule a tour and get more information about
attending our school. We look forward to welcoming you to our school
community!

God Bless You,

Tina Katherine Kipp
